Don't be put off by Carnage, its an easy read! Review by Ryan
-
Having not read Absolute Carnage, I was hesitant to read the sixth installment in Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run, as I was unsure how much of an impact the main story was going to have on the tie-in Spidey issues. Thankfully, aside from a few references at the beginning and end of the arc, the issues act pretty much the same as an ordinary Spider-Man story. A battle with a symbiote-infused Norman Osborn and an appearance by the mysterious Kindred are clear highlights in this volume. Also, the added Red Goblin: Red Death issue is a definite, if uncharacteristically dark, treat. (Posted on 19/02/2021)
