Watchmen is a rare type of comic. One that could easily be presented in a book, or a film, or a television series. It tells us about human nature, about the dangers of the Cold War, and about the problems the future will face. Alan Moore's writing is sublime, and each character has their own distinct personalities and feelings, and are (for the most part) likeable and somewhat relatable. I will say that this comic will likely not be for everyone. It covers some pretty dark themes, and its likely to be a little bit depressing sometimes. However, if you're ok with that sort of stuff, I advise you to read this, as it will certainly not disappoint you. (Posted on 26/02/2021)
