Hints of Miller's Batman from Dark Knight Returns Review by Wilko

As much of a Jim Gordon story as it is a Batman story, as well as some of my favourite quotes from any comic book. "Ladies, gentlemen, you have eaten well." "From now on, none of you are safe." (Posted on 08/07/2020)
A Great Jim Gordon Story Review by Stan

As much as it's a Batman story, Jim Gordon is developed with an equal reverence. Yes, the comic often jumps around quite a bit, sometimes to the point of incoherence, but it manages to capture a period in Gordon and Batman's lives where they're just beginning to break into their respective iconic roles. "Ladies, gentlemen, you have eaten well." (Posted on 18/06/2020)

I have read that this is the definitive batman story and was sceptical about this. However upon reading the first few pages I was proven wrong. This is set in the early years of Batman and his relationship with Gordon. The story keeps you intrigued and gives you enough excitment to keep you reading to the very last pages. The hint of Batmans latest foe keeps you intrested not just in this story but batman as a whole. Beacuse of this novel I am now hooked on comics and have gone from this one only to over 30. This is one of the best Batman stories for people of all ages and a must buy. (Posted on 01/07/2016)
