Many people likely don't remember the death of Captain Stacy, though I would argue his death, occurring just under three years before the death of Gwen, is possibly just as important as her death! At this time, very few supporting characters (outside of the origin story) died, and so it must have come as a real shock when Captain George Stacy bit the bullet in 1970. Of course this is usually overshadowed by Gwen's death in the summer of 73, but both present an iconic and significant moment in the life of Spider-Man. You can't call yourself a true Spidey fan if you haven't read these... (Posted on 18/04/2021)
