Although I was not a huge fan of the New 52 version of Superman (dubbed Superman Red) I was pleasently surprised. Having read the original Death of Superman Omnibus, I had high hopes for this story and it didnt disappoint. The artwork is surprising good and bleeds the issues together seemlessly. The story itself brings together the various threads established in Doomed, Savage Dawn etc. and finishes the arc in a heartfelt way and paves the way for Rebirth in a surprising way and acts as a catalyst for the future of the Superman and his allies and friends.

If you are a fan of the New 52 Superman, thia ia a must read going into Rebirth. (Posted on 29/06/2017)
