The heart of the story revolves around "The Stompers", a gang of holocaust survivors and their daily struggle to protect nine blocks of Hollywood Blvd.--their turf. When dreams of a better world and destiny collide, Mikal and his band of misfits must rescue an Aztekkain Princess from her people's stronghold in Downtown LA, and fight their way to Venice Beach before time runs out. The world fell into ruin in 2013, when "IT" happens. A near miss by a giant comet causes a massive plate tectonic shift. The poles drift into warmer waters and melt, raising sea levels and spinning Mankind's civilization into a planet-wide war for control of every inch of livable earth. As the waters recede over the next decade, the survivors band together in tribe-like gangs, each group fiercely claiming their own little piece of turf. The peace and harmony of the past has become become nothing more than a distant legend. An unlikely Romeo and Juliet story unfolds in this hard and violent New World. Mikal and Angel are from two warring gangs, but both teenagers share the same DREAM and belief that there has to be a better way and a better place than the war torn city they live in. The two young lovers meet when a convoy of Aztekkian warriors drift into Stomper turf in route to return Princess Angel to the sacrificial altar of her murderous, warlord father. Mikal rescues her and their true destiny is revealed--they must lead their people to freedom. Angel is ripped from Mikal's arms by her brother, Razhzarr and taken away to face her doom in Downtown. Mikal knows he must turn his back on his tribe and he sets out to get her back. Joined by a small band of his Stomper misfits, they make a daring rescue, penetrating into the heart of the mighty Aztekkian Empire and snatching Angel from her father's sacrificial altar at the top of the Staples Center Pyramid. Dark clouds of war spread across the city as the maddened Aztekkian's move to attack and destroy all the other gangs in LOST ANGELES. Pursued by Rahzarr, his warriors, and the mercenary Elite troopers, the Stompers must fight their way through a number of gangs as they make their way from Downtown to Venice, the ocean, and freedom. Envisioned in classic HEAVY METAL science fiction storytelling, this post-apocalyptic "Warriors" meets "Mad Maxx", animated epic has been created and developed by Kevin Eastman, Joe Pearson, and acclaimed Heavy Metal artist-Simon Bisley.
