Having picked this up a few years back, and not reading a lot of the background comics that were printed beforehand, it does make reading Standoff a little difficult. The premise is certainly a draw, but the execution of it is badly done (if any of you have read my reviews of Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run, you'll know this is a common theme with this man!)
