Wonder Woman #200. Wonder Woman has faced some enormous challenges since writer Greg Rucka and artists Drew Johnson & Ray Snyder came on board with August's acclaimed issue #195. But her biggest battle yet comes in WONDER WOMAN #200, a 64-page anniversary issue highlighted by the conclusion to the team's first story arc, "Down to Earth" and the debut of new regular cover artist J.G. Jones (WONDER WOMAN: THE HIKETEIA). As Veronica Cale unleashes an amped-up version of an already deadly villains on Wonder Woman and her friends, the machinations of Ares on Olympus cause the gods to take a very different approach to all the Amazons of Themyscira…a change that will affect Diana's people for years to come! But the conclusion to "Down to Earth" is just part of this celebration of the most famous female character in comics! Award-winning artist Eric Shanower (Age of Bronze) provides spot illustrations for excerpts (written by Rucka) from Wonder Woman's own book, Reflections; and renowned Castle Waiting artist Linda Medley illustrates a story starring Wonder Girl that retells an ancient myth, setting the stage for the next continuing WONDER WOMAN storyline. Plus, other stories evoke the spirit of Wonder Woman's earlier incarnations, including "The Exile of Wonder Woman!," a Golden Age-style story from writer Robert Rodi (Elektra, CODENAME: KNOCKOUT) with H.G. Peter-style art by Rick Burchett (GREEN LANTERN). Plus, the Silver Age exploits of our favorite Amazon are lovingly re-created by writers Nunzio DeFillipis & Christina Weir (New Mutants) and artist Ty Templeton (BATMAN ADVENTURES) when Wonder Woman must rescue Steve Trevor from "Amazon Women on the Moon!" Rounding out this Wonder-full celebration are pinups from Eduardo Risso, Steve Rude, Stuart Immonen, Brian Stelfreeze, and Walter Simonson, making this a celebration to remember!
