Zelandria's only hope is Lucian, a scorned prince who has returned from years of solitude to reclaim his kingdom and avenge his father's murder. #2 - War hangs thickly in the air as Lucian and his new ally, Duncan, begin their lengthy journey towards the Shore Mountains and enlist the services of a gambler named Junzo. Meanwhile, across the Great Continent, one of Zelandria's most honored leaders is developing a plan that will unwittingly aid Eridan's evil agenda. And, as Eridan's agents discover the location of the final shard, the hope for Zelandria wanes with every passing moment. #3 - The fires of war are ablaze as a haunting darkness looms over the military stronghold of Metzsta City. Treason reigns as allegiances are severed and the Zelandrian Hierarchy find themselves in a state of civil unrest. Meanwhile, on the peaceful summits of the Shore Mountains; Lucian, Tyrus and Junzo attempt to fend off an attack of Shadow Sentry led by Valamire, who has only one intention retrieve the final shard. #4 - As the final crystal shard nears Sorrow's Keep, Lucian and gang fall short in an attempt to impede its course and find themselves deep within the Caverns of the Eternal Echo where a mysterious creature named Bevelard will reveal the truth behind Lucian's past. Ties are broken and darkness broods as the final preparations to unleash the Shriekers have commenced. Lucian must convince his friends that the demons of the past have returned for redemption.
