Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons. Legendary author and award-winning editor James Lowder (Prince of Lies, Knight of the Black Rose) applies his visionary Dungeons & Dragons imagination to a new ongoing comic book series. Lowder will oversee adaptations by such scribes as R.A. Salvatore, Margaret Weis, and Tracy Hickman, who will pack two ongoing stories per month into the giant 48-page monthly comic. 

Each issue of Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons will feature two stories from Wizards of the Coast's bestselling fantasy settings, including the Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, and Eberron. Issues of Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons feature a wide array of iconic characters, such as the arch-wizard Elminster and the villainous death knight Lord Soth. Writers will include authors familiar to comics readers, as well as fans of fantasy fiction and role-playing games: Jeff Grubb, Elaine Cunningham, P.N. Elrod, Richard Knaak, Keith Baker, Monte Cook, and Stan Brown, many of them scripting the adaptations of their own stories.
